OK, we admit it. It doesn’t look very convivial. In fact, if we are truthful, it looks a bit daunting and un-welcoming. However don’t be fooled by this outward appearance, those Victorian stone walls house a very nice little social club.
I guess that you would like to know if its the type of place you would like to visit. Well let me tell you a bit about us.
The members are a mixed bunch of uncommonly civil people. Like the club they are warm and welcoming. They appreciate good beer, good wine and good company. All of which can be found in plenty within the club.
The members don’t take themselves too seriously and, although they can often be found solving all the worlds crises they can also be found talking a load of piffle.
The atmosphere in the club is very relaxed and the music never too loud. We do have occasional “do’s” such as a race nights or a theme nights and these usually include supper.
Various other clubs and associations use our club to meet and conduct there business or just relax.
Why not come and give us the once over. You never know you may enjoy the experience and make new friends.
